Vijay Wins "Best Entertainer" Award at Vijay Awards 2013
Ilayathalapathy Vijay won the “Best Entertainer 2012 Award”, for Nanban and Thuppakki. Vijay received the award from Kamal Hassan in midst of huge roar from crows shouting Thalaivaa Thalaivaa. Speaking about Vijay, Kamal Hassan said “That silence of Vijay, that is why he is great!”. Earlier Vijay came to Vijay Awards with his wife Sangeetha. When Vijay entered the venue Thuppakki BGM was played and he was welcomed with a huge roar from his fans. The entire crowd was roaring as Thalaivaa Thaliavaa.
